Question: What happens if an opponent does not show up for a match.
Answer: A forfeit will be awarded to the player currently on location.
Question: Is there a cost associated with a forfeit.
Answer: Yes, twenty dollars will be charged to the person receiving the forfeit.
Question: Can anyone who has a skill level lower than an APA 4, play in this league.
Answer: Yes, our format currently supports APA skill levels 2, 3, 4 and above.
Question: What's the average amount of greens fee I could end up spending on a league night.
Answer: Starting January 2010, twenty dollars..
Question: How do I reschedule a match.
Answer: See Future Matches, League Moves and Swaps in the Megabucks Rules Booklet.
Question: Where do I go to see my stats or standings.
Answer: All stats and standings are available via the members area. All information there in will be updated as soon as new information is generated.
Question: Can I play a jump shot in this league.
Answer: Yes, but it must be performed with your shooting cue. Breaking down your cue to perform a shot will be considered a foul and ball in hand will be awarded to your opponent.
Question: What's the duration of this league.
Answer: 12 - 15 weeks.
Question: What makes this league stand out from others.
Answer: All prizes are in cash along with trophies for first and second place. We also offer a Most Valuable Female Player award and are the only co-ed league in the state with a built in ladies division. Finally, with our ERS format and points system, anyone, regardless of skill, can win.
Question: Is there a greens fee charge on every league night.
Answer: Yes, however there is one exception. No fees are charged for the semi-final or final rounds in the league session.
Question: Does a member have to participate every week to be eligible for the wildcard draw.
Answer: All members are required to participate in no less than thirteen weeks to be eligible for the wildcard draw.
Question: What happens if (for any reason) a member is unable to come in to play a match.
Answer: It is that members responsibility to notify his/her opponent or league director. Note, if your opponent is already on location, he/she has the option of taking a forfeit.
Question: How many points are given for a forfeit.
Answer: Eleven points plus two bonus making it a total of thirteen all together. Note: a twenty dollar charge will be associated.
Question: Does the person who gave up the forfeit receive any points.
Answer: Yes, five points is allocated to the loser. Note: a twenty dollar charge will be associated.
Question: Are there any age requirements in this league.
Answer: Yes, you must be twenty one or older to participate. No exceptions. |
