Mega Bucks 9ball Review: What I like about this league is the fact that you are in control. The choice is yours. Every decision you make determines how well you play and win. I don't mean just each game but the whole thing. I loved the fact that so many people thought that it would be a piece of cake. Ah how quick did that form of thinking go out the window. lol. Playing in this league makes you become a better player, you have to step up your game. I like that the founder of this league Mr. Morris and his idea of awarding prizes up to 8th place not to mention some special perks for women as well. A race to 11 how hard can that be huh.Come on down and bring your best game. I dare ya lol.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: It is not uncommon to have someone within the league, including the director, providing tips to help another members game. What stands out about that to me is that the tips are coming from someone that is going to be that persons challenger at some point in time so that speaks volumes about the members and the director, Vincent Morris. It is clear that the main objective of the league is for the members to improve their level of knowledge of the game as it pertains to the rules and their actual shooting skill level.
There are many opportunities and ways for a member to be rewarded monetarily within a match even if that person does not win that particular match.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: One of the things I like about the Mega bucks 9ball league is the unique system, such as LADIE'S PRIZE, where players receive rewards for getting the 9 on the break or a break and run. There is also a prize for the two females who finish the regular season with the highest records. It keeps us playing hard and motivated when we know we will gain something even if we are not able to win the entire season.
I also like the points system. Even if you lose a match, the games you win still count towards your standing. So therefore, you always have an opportunity to move up your rank. I think this system encourages players to do their best while playing throughout a match until it is done. I also think it helps to motivate them during the entire season and as a result, you always have the chance to improve your game.
I would definitely recommend this league to any one who likes to play pool. It’s a great environment, the tables are nice and the members are friendly. I am always excited to play on Saturdays.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: I like/love the professionalism of the director. I really enjoy that he makes rules and he sticks to his rules--without regard for favoritism. I have been looking for a league that is fair and decent. I like that I have become a better player for it.
I have recommended MEGA to a few people, but only people who I know can actually commit themselves to it.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: What I like most is the friendliness of the members and the fact that they all are willing to help you get better, everyone helps me and roots me on. It's like a family. The league manager always puts in extra time with me to improve my game. If you want to improve your game and meet interesting people, I recommend you check out the Megabucks9ball league.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: I enjoy the Mega Bucks 9Ball league because it permits everyone an opportunity to improve their level of play, no matter your skill level. The players are friendly and welcoming. The league director is always willing to help with any problem areas in my game. I have seen a vast improvement in my shot selections and executions.
I would recommend this league to anyone, women and men, looking for a professionally run amateur pool tournament.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: The best thing that I like about the league is that it always starts on time. Just kidding! :-)
The league has been a big boost to my game because there is a basic seriousness during the matches displayed by all the players. There are fewer distractions to be concerned about. I can focus on my game.
There is also a level of sportsmanship that I've never experienced elsewhere. That has helped to strengthen my inner game. It has allowed me to be able to accept my mistakes and be able to continue when I get back to the table without being rattled. It has allowed me to exhibit sportsmanship myself which was a big shortcoming in the past. If I lose a game I'm able now to take it in stride and step up when I'm shooting again. I try to remember the good games I've got under my belt instead of the bad ones. This brings confidence back to the table.
This league has definitely helped to improve my overall game.
The handicapping is fair and pretty accurate. I can tell a C player from a B player, and I KNOW Vincent can. He does an excellent job at this.
There are more positive things.

Mega Bucks 9ball Review: I like the fact that the Mega Bucks Nine (9) Ball - (MB9) league provides an individual of my caliber the opportunity to learn the game the way it is played on the professional level. To learn the proper rules and regulations that drives the game, allows the MB9 player to compete universally with understanding. MB9B encourages development and growth of ones skills and talents.
I recommend MB9 because it will allow each participant to grow at his/her own pace, but it also surrounds the player in a competitive fun learning environment with courtesy and respect at all times. |
Mega Bucks 9ball Review: The Mega Bucks 9 Ball League is a great league for those looking to improve their game through friendly competition. All the members of the league are courteous and amiable - and all share a passion for pool and a desire to improve. Although it's an individual/singles format - the league is a community in the best sense - and fosters a healthy environment for someone to grow their game. (something that is sadly difficult to find in pool).
Highly recommended for players just starting to get serious about pool - you'll find it both challenging and enjoyable. In addition - Vincent Morris - the league director - does a great job of keeping things organized and constantly working to benefit the membership of the league. |
Mega Bucks 9ball Review: When I first joined MB9 it took me a few weeks to adapt to this type of league, which actually tests the physical and mental limits of one’s game and offers the opportunity to grow and learn from different opponents and their style of play. The atmosphere is friendly and respectful which I like the most and distractions are minimum which allows me to concentrate on my game more. So I’ll have to give Vince some props and two thumbs up and keep it up.

Mega Bucks 9Ball Review: One of the main reasons I like the MB9 league is because of the level of integrity it offers. Vincent Morris runs it in a professional manner. I love the alternate break rule which gives an equal opportunity to lower handicaps. The environment is relaxing with well kept tables. There is a high level of great sportsmanship and Vincent does an outstanding job with updates through meetings and emails to keep his players informed on all aspects of the league. The level of competition in the MB9 league is outstanding and very controlled with the handicapping system. I would recommend this league to anyone who desire or want to be a part of an environment that offers good, clean and quality competition.
