About MB9

THE REASON: MB9 was created specifically for those players who desire more from the sport of pocket billiards. Aimed towards the amateur and intermediate player, the league is structured in a way that adheres to that of a professional event. In short, we give the average player the opportunity to compete on a professional stage.

OUR RULES: The rules in MB9 supports the pro standard of the BCA and the sportsmanship ethics are very hardcore. We believe that professionalism starts with the individual as opposed to the game itself. It is imperative that all our participants feel comfortable, challenged and rewarded.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE: All amateur and intermediate players are welcome. APA  and BCA members with skill levels 4-9 and D-A are ideal for our format. Unfortunately, open and pro caliber players are not currently being accepted.

THE REWARDS: Our rewards and cash pay outs are based on a network system. This allows us to increase the prize fund each season. Our goal is to become the largest payout singles pool league in the state. With so many other leagues offering peanuts for time invested, Mega Bucks will prove that a lot more can be given and the standard of pocket billiards can be raised regardless of skill level.

OTHER GOALS: Because we offer so much to our members, our competitors will have no choice but to raise their standards, prize funds and professionalism. This in turn will help to elevate the quality of the sport and the level of organized league play.
